While reading the latest addition of mixtape, Amelia (3) spied some matryoshka dolls and requested we have them immediately. Fortunately I have Kristen Doran's screen printed craft panels (43cm x 36cm) in store and I became an instant hero since they are so easy and quick to sew up.

I had to laugh the following day when I realised my sewing area had been taken over by Lego, the joys of children!

If you haven't yet seen mixtape head over to their blog for more info, it is a great sewing / crafting / handmade Australian magazine with an environmental edge.
